_ The Story of Roman

By_

The Story of The Aad And The Thamud Nation_ Qur'an Tafseer

By_
Image
The Aad and the Thamud are two nations mentioned several times in the Quran. They are often discussed when Allah is directing our attention to people who disobeyed Him and were punished as a result. The exact time of their existence is nearly impossible to determine. But we can conclude from the verses of the Quran that they lived sometime after the flood of Noah and before the time of Ibrahim (AS). Both groups of people were located on the Arabian Peninsula. The Aad and Thamud were both located in the northwestern part of modern day Saudi Arabia near the border of Jordan. Before sending the punishment on them, Allah sent two prophets to these nations. He sent Prophet Hud (AS) to the Aad, and Prophet Salih (AS) to the Thamud. Unfortunately, both nations rejected their prophets. Not only did they reject them, they mocked, ridiculed, and in the case of Salih (AS) they even tried to kill him. These two groups are considered to be ancestors to modern day Arabs. Furthermore, their prophets,...

Moving the finger during Tashahhud _ Important Masala-Masael,

By_
Image
Firstly:  It is proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to point with his index finger and move it during the tashahhud when praying.  The scholars differed concerning that and there are several points of view.  1 – The Hanafis say that the finger should be raised when saying “Laa (no)” in the phrase “Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha ill-Allaah (I bear witness that there is no god except Allaah)” and it should be lowered when saying, “ill-Allaah (except Allaah).”   2 – The Shaafa’is say that it should be raised when saying “ill-Allaah.”  3 – The Maalikis say that it should be moved right and left until one finishes the prayer.  4 – The Hanbalis say that one should point with the finger when saying the name of Allaah, without moving it.  Shaykh al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: There is no basis for any of these definitions and manners in the Sunnah. The closest of them to the correct view is the Hanbali view, were i...

Bilqis(Queen of Sheba): Tafseer of Ibn katheer : Qur'anic Story

Image
Bilqis(Queen of Sheba) Allah the Almighty says: {He inspected the birds, and said: "What is the matter that I see not the hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees? "I will surely punish him with a severe torment, or slaughter him, unless he brings me a clear reason." But the hoopoe stayed not long: he (came up and) said: "I have grasped (the knowledge of a thing) which you have not grasped and I have come to you from Saba' (Sheba) with true news." "I found a woman ruling over them: she has been given all things that could be possessed by any ruler of the earth, and she has a great throne. I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah, and Shaitan (Satan) has made their deeds fair-seeming to them, and has barred them from (Allah's) Way: so they have no guidance." [As Shaitan (Satan) has barred them from Allah's Way] so they do not worship (prostrate themselves before) Allah, Who brings to light what is hidden in th...

Here are some short hadiths filled with vital wisdom for living the good life. www.atowar-rahman-salafi.blogspot.com  1 1)SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) سبحان الله Whoever recites [the above] one Hundred times, a thousand good deeds are recorded for him or a thousand bad deeds are wiped away. [Muslim] 2)La illaha illallah(There is no God but Allah) If we say this dua one hundred times a day, we will get the reward of freeing 10 slaves, 100 good deeds written and, 100bad deeds will be wiped off and Satan will not harm you that day. In one minute we can say Laa ilaaha illa Allaah approximately 50 times. This is the greatest word, for it is the word of Tawheed, the good word, the word that stands firm. If these are the last words of a person, he will enter Paradise, and there are other reports which indicate how great these words are. Li kulli shay’in miftahun wa miftahu al-jannati shahadatu an   La ilaha illallah . “Everything has its key, and the key to Paradise is the witnessing that there is no god but Allah.”...
