Chapter___ Raising Index Finger in Tashahhud

Abdullah Ibn ‘Umar  said: “When the Prophet (ﷺ) sat for Tashahhud, he placed his left hand on his left knee and placed his right hand on his right knee, and he formed a ring like, and he pointed with his index finger (to indicate the Oneness of Allah).” [Muslim] saw

Besides, ‘Abdullah Ibn az-Zubayr  narrated: “When the Prophet (ﷺ) sat for “Tashahhud”, he placed his rightsae hand on his right thigh and his left hand on his left thigh, and pointed with his forefinger, and placed his thumb on his (middle) finger, and covered his knee with the palm of his left hand.” [Muslim]

The second narration gives some explanation to the state mentioned in the first narration.

There is another narration from Waa’il Ibn Hujr  that: “He saw the Prophet (ﷺ) when he sat in prayer, that he spread out his left foot and placed his hands on his thighs and pointed with his index finger supplicating in this way.” [An-Nasaa’i and others]

Once a person has finished the Prayer, he should make the following supplications: أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ  Astaghfirullāh, astaghfirullāh, astaghfirullāh “I ask Allah for forgiveness”  3 times. ক্রুসেড :  ক্রুসেড অর্থ ধর্মযুদ্ধ ।মূলতঃ পবিত্রভূমি জেরুজালেমের উপর কর্তৃত্ব প্রতিষ্ঠা নিয়ে ইউরোপের খ্রিষ্টান ও প্রাচ্যের মুসলমানদের মধ্যে এগার শতক হতে তের শতক (১০৯৬-১২৯২ খ্রিঃ) পর্যন্ত সুদীর্ঘ প্রায় দুইশত বছর ব্যাপি যে ভয়াবহ যুদ্ধ সংগঠিত হয় তা-ই ইতিহাসে ক্রুসেড নামে পরিচিত ।এ সময় দুই ধর্মীয় সম্প্রদায়ের(☪ ☨) মধ্যে সংগঠিত এ যুদ্ধ মধ্যযুগীয় ইউরোপ ও এশিয়ার ইতিহাসে একটি আলোড়ন সৃষ্টিকারী ঘটনা ।ইউরোপিয় খ্রিষ্টানগণ তাঁদের ধর্মীয় নেতা পোপের নির্দেশে বুকে ক্রুস চিহ্ন(☨) নিয়ে যুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিল এবং ক্রুসকেই যুদ্ধের পতাকা হিসেবে ব্যবহার করেছিল বলেও এ যুদ্ধ ইতিহাসে ক্রুসেড নামে পরিচিত। তবে মুসলমান গবেষকগণ Grousset সহ অধিকাংশ ইউরোপীয় ঐতিহাসিক ও লেখক কতৃক মুসলিম জাতির সাথে খ্রিষ্টানদের প্রতিটি সংঘর্ষকে ক্রুসেড নামে আখ্যায়িৎ করার সমালোচনা করেছেন ।এশিয়ার মুসলমান এবং ইউরোপের খ্রিষ্টানদের মধ্যে বিরাজিত সুদীর্ঘকালের ঘৃণা,বিদ্বেষ ও দ্বন্দ্ব কলহের বহিঃপ্রকাশ ঘটে এই ক্রুসেড বা ধর্ম যুদ্ধে ।তাই এই ক্রুসেডের কারণ ছিল যেমন বহুবিদ তেমনি এর ফলাফল ছিল সুদূরপ্রসারী । ক্রুসেড অর্...

From Shaykh,  Allaama, Mufti  of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abdul Azeez bin Abdullaah Bin Baz by Umm Yahya  The Noble Shaykh Bin Baz  -Rahimullaah-  was asked: ‘The reward for reciting the Book of Allaah is evident.
