Question:

I have heard that drawing the thumb against the middle finger and extending the forefinger and moving it is harsher for the devil then being struck with iron ... to what extent is this narration correct?

Answer:

I do not know anything of this narration, but it is lawful for a person to clench the little finger and the ring finger and to make a circle with the thumb and the middle finger and to point with the middle finger while he is supplicating.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “ This scattering of yours into the trails and valleys is from Satan. ” They never set up camp afterward unless they were close to each other, so much so that it was said a single blanket could be spread over them all. " Pray as you have seen me praying”  (Sahih Bukhari: 631)   Prerequisites (Shurut) of Prayer (Salah) : Prerequisite means a condition that is required in order for something else to happen and if it is missing, the thing is invalid and unfulfilled e-g Ablution (Wuḍhu) is a prerequisite for Salah. It is obligatory for a person who wishes to perform Prayer (Salah) to make sure that he or she satisfies the following Prerequisites before entering the Prayer (Salah):   1. Intention: (an-Ni yy ah) for Prayer:   The person who is going to pray must have in his heart the intention to pray that particular Prayer. গ্রন্থঃ জাল হাদীছের কবলে রাসূলুল্লাহ (ছাঃ)-এর ছালাত অধ্যায়ঃ ছালাতুল জুম‘আ  জুম‘আর ছালাতের জন্য দুই আযান দেওয়ার যে প্রথা সমাজে চালু আছে তা সুন্নাত সম্মত নয়। জুম‘আর আযান হবে একটি। ইমাম খুৎবা দেওয়ার জন্য যখন মিম্বরে বসবেন, তখন মুয়াযযিন আযান দিবে।[1] রাসূল (ছাঃ), আবুবকর ও ওমর (রাঃ)-এর আমলে এবং ওছমান (রাঃ)-এর খেলাফতের প্রথমাংশে জুম‘আর আযান একটিই ছিল। অতঃপর মানুষের সংখ্যা যখন বেড়ে গেল, তখন ওছমান (রাঃ) মসজিদে নববীর অনতিদূরে ‘যাওরা’ নামক বাজারে জুম‘আর পূর্বে আরেকটি আযান চালু করেন।[2] ওছমান (রাঃ) যে কারণে আরেকটি আযান চালু করেছিলেন, কোথাও উক্ত কারণ বিদ্যমান থাকলে তা এখনো চালু করা জায়েয। কারণ খুলাফায়ে রাশেদ্বীনের সুন্নাতের অনুসরণে ওছমান (রাঃ)-এর আযান যদি সকল মসজিদের জন্য পালনীয় হত, তাহলে তিনি মক্কায় চালু করলেন না কেন? অনুরূপ অন্যান্য মসজিদে চালু হল না কেন? আলী (রাঃ)-এর আমল পর্যন্ত অন্য কোথাও উক্ত আযান চালু হয়নি। এমনকি মক্কাতেও চালু হয়নি। বর্তমানে আমরা কি উক্ত আযান চালু করে ছাহাবীদের চেয়ে বেশী দ্বীনদারীর ভাব দেখাতে চাই? এ জন্যই হয়ত ইবনু ওমর (রাঃ) উক্ত আযানকে বিদ‘আত বলেছেন।[3] অনুরূপ ইমাম কুরতু...

Once a person has finished the Prayer, he should make the following supplications: أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ  Astaghfirullāh, astaghfirullāh, astaghfirullāh “I ask Allah for forgiveness”  3 times. (Muslim no. 591) اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلاَمُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلاَمُ تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ Allāhumma antas-salām, wa minkas-salām, tabārakta yā dhal-jalāli wal-‘ikrām. “O Allah, You are As-Salām (Peace), and from you is As-Salām. গ্রন্থঃ যঈফ ও জাল হাদিস | পরিচ্ছেদঃ  ৪৪১ । সচ্চরিত্র গুনাহগুলোকে গলিয়ে ফেলে যেমননিভাবে পানি বরফকে গলিয়ে ফেলে এবং খারাপ চরিত্র আমলকে নষ্ট করে দেয় যেমনভাবে সেরকা মধুকে নষ্ট করে দেয়। হাদীসটি নিতান্তই দুর্বল। এটির দুটি সূত্র রয়েছেঃ ১। ইবনু আব্বাস (রাঃ) হতে হাদীসটি তাবারানী “মুজামুল কাবীর” গ্রন্থে (৩/৯৮/১) এবং “মুজামুল আওসাত” গ্রন্থে (১/৪৮/১/৮৩৮) এবং আবু মুহাম্মাদ কারী তার “আল-হাদীস” গ্রন্থে (২/২০৩/১) ঈসা ইবনু মায়মূন হতে ... বর্ণনা করেছেন। আমি (আলবানী) বলছিঃ এটির সনদটি নিতান্তই দুর্বল। এ ঈসা হচ্ছেন মাদানী, ওয়াসেতী নামে প্রসিদ্ধ। তার সম্পর্কে ইবনু আবী হাতিম (৩/১/২৮৭) তার পিতার উদ্ধৃতিতে বলেছেনঃ তিনি মাতরূকুল হাদীস যার হাদীস অগ্রহণযোগ্য। হায়সামী "আল-মাজমা" গ্রন্থে (৮/২৪) তাকে দুর্বল আখ্যা দিয়েছেন। ২। আনাস (রাঃ) হতে; এ হাদীসটি তাম্মাম “আল-ফাওয়াইদ” গ্রন্থে (১/৫৩) বর্ণনা করেছেন। এটির সনদে রাওহ ইবনু আবদিল ওয়াহেদ ও তার শাইখ খালীদ ইবনু দালাজ রয়েছেন। আমি (আলবানী) বলছিঃ এ সনদটি নিতান্তই দুর্বল। খালীদ ইবনু দালাজ সম্পর্কে নাসাঈ বলেনঃ তিনি নির্ভরযোগ্য নন। দারাকুতনী তাকে মাতরূকদের [...
