Hadith on Dua: Do not pray against yourself or your family.....

Jabir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not supplicate against yourselves, do not supplicate against your children, and do not supplicate against your property, lest it coincides with an hour in which Allah is asked for something and He answers you.”

What are the Sunnahs and etiquettes that we should act in accordance with on the day of Eid?_

Praise be to Allah. The Sunnahs that the Muslim should observe on the day of Eid are as follows:  1 – Doing ghusl before going out to the prayer.  It was narrated in a saheeh hadeeth in al-Muwatta’ and elsewhere that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar used to do ghusl on the day of al-Fitr before going out to the prayer-place in the morning. Al-Muwatta’ 428.  Al- Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said that the Muslims were unanimously agreed that it is mustahabb to do ghusl for Eid prayer.  The reason why it is mustahabb is the same reason as that for doing ghusl before Jumu’ah and other public gatherings. মানুষের মতই জ্বিনদেরও ভাল-মন্দ উভয়ই আছে। ভাল জ্বিনরা যেমন জান্নাতে যাবে, তেমনি খারাপ জ্বিনরা যাবে জাহান্নামে৷ মহান আল্লাহ উভয় জাতিকেই ইবাদতের নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন। তিনি বলেছেন, وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ অর্থাৎ, আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি জ্বিন ও মানুষকে কেবল এ জন্য যে, তারা আমারই ইবাদত করবে। (যারিয়াতঃ ৫৬) সুতরাং ইবাদত না করলে জাহান্নামে যেতে হবে। জ্বিনকেও হাশরের ময়দানে জমায়েত করা হবে। মহান আল্লাহ বলেছেন, وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُم مِّنَ الْإِنسِ ۖ وَقَالَ أَوْلِيَاؤُهُم مِّنَ الْإِنسِ رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا ۚ قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوَاكُمْ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ অর্থাৎ, যেদিন তিনি তাদের সকলকে একত্র করবেন (এবং বলবেন,) ‘হে জিন সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা অনেক মানুষকে তোমাদের অনুগত করেছিলে। আর মানব-সমাজের মধ্যে তাদের বন্ধুগণ বলবে, হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক। আমরা পরস্পর পরস্পর দ্বারা লাভবান হয়েছি এবং তুমি আমাদের জন্য যে সময় নির্...

Narrated Abdullah ibn Khubayb: We went out one rainy and intensely dark night to look for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to lead us in prayer, and when we found him, he asked: Have you prayed?, but I did not say anything. So he said: Say, but I did not say anything. He again said: Say, but I did not say anything. He then said: Say. So I said: What am I to say? He said: Say: "Say, Qulhu allahu aahad, sura falaq and Sura Nas;  three times in the morning and evening; they will serve you for every purpose.
