Abu Tha’labah reported: The people would set up camp and disperse into the trails and valleys. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “This scattering of yours into the trails and valleys is from Satan.” They never set up camp afterward unless they were close to each other, so much so that it was said a single blanket could be spread over them all.

عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ قَالَ كَانَ النَّاسُ إِذَا نَزَلُوا مَنْزِلًا تَفَرَّقُوا فِي الشِّعَابِ وَالْأَوْدِيَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ تَفَرُّقَكُمْ فِي هَذِهِ الشِّعَابِ وَالْأَوْدِيَةِ إِنَّمَا ذَلِكُمْ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ فَلَمْ يَنْزِلْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مَنْزِلًا إِلَّا انْضَمَّ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ حَتَّى يُقَالَ لَوْ بُسِطَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثَوْبٌ لَعَمَّهُمْ

Suhih Muslim  Book 41, Number 6: Harith b Abi Rabi'a and 'Abdullah b. Praise be to Allah. The Sunnahs that the Muslim should observe on the day of Eid are as follows:  1 – Doing ghusl before going out to the prayer.  It was narrated in a saheeh hadeeth in al-Muwatta’ and elsewhere that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar used to do ghusl on the day of al-Fitr before going out to the prayer-place in the morning. Al-Muwatta’ 428.  Al- Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said that the Muslims were unanimously agreed that it is mustahabb to do ghusl for Eid prayer.  The reason why it is mustahabb is the same reason as that for doing ghusl before Jumu’ah and other public gatherings. মানুষের মতই জ্বিনদেরও ভাল-মন্দ উভয়ই আছে। ভাল জ্বিনরা যেমন জান্নাতে যাবে, তেমনি খারাপ জ্বিনরা যাবে জাহান্নামে৷ মহান আল্লাহ উভয় জাতিকেই ইবাদতের নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন। তিনি বলেছেন, وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ অর্থাৎ, আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি জ্বিন ও মানুষকে কেবল এ জন্য যে, তারা আমারই ইবাদত করবে। (যারিয়াতঃ ৫৬) সুতরাং ইবাদত না করলে জাহান্নামে যেতে হবে। জ্বিনকেও হাশরের ময়দানে জমায়েত করা হবে। মহান আল্লাহ বলেছেন, وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُم مِّنَ الْإِنسِ ۖ وَقَالَ أَوْلِيَاؤُهُم مِّنَ الْإِنسِ رَبَّنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَا أَجَلَنَا الَّذِي أَجَّلْتَ لَنَا ۚ قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوَاكُمْ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ অর্থাৎ, যেদিন তিনি তাদের সকলকে একত্র করবেন (এবং বলবেন,) ‘হে জিন সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা অনেক মানুষকে তোমাদের অনুগত করেছিলে। আর মানব-সমাজের মধ্যে তাদের বন্ধুগণ বলবে, হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক। আমরা পরস্পর পরস্পর দ্বারা লাভবান হয়েছি এবং তুমি আমাদের জন্য যে সময় নির্...

বিদ‘আতের সংজ্ঞা  আল্লাহর নিকট ইসলামই হচ্ছে একমাত্র মনোনীত দীন। আল-কুরআনে তিনি বলেন, ﴿وَمَن يَبۡتَغِ غَيۡرَ ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمِ دِينٗا فَلَن يُقۡبَلَ مِنۡهُ﴾ [ال عمران: ٨٥] ‘‘যে ব্যক্তি ইসলাম ছাড়া অন্য কোনো দীন অনুসন্ধান করে, তা কখনোই তার কাছ থেকে গ্রহণ করা হবে না’’। [সূরা আলে ইমরান, আয়াত: ৮৫] এ দীনকে পরিপূর্ণ করার ঘোষণাও আল্লাহ আল-কুরআনে দিয়েছেন, ﴿ٱلۡيَوۡمَ أَكۡمَلۡتُ لَكُمۡ دِينَكُمۡ وَأَتۡمَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ نِعۡمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ ٱلۡإِسۡلَٰمَ دِينٗا﴾ [المائ‍دة: ٣] ‘‘আজ আমি তোমাদের জন্য তোমাদের দীনকে পরিপূর্ণ করে দিলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের জন্য দীন হিসেবে মনোনীত করলাম।’’ [সূরা আল-মায়েদা, আয়াত: ৩] এ ঘোষণার পর আল-কুরআন ও সুন্নাহ’র বাইরে দীনের মধ্যে নতুন কোনো বিষয় সংযোজিত হওয়ার পথ চিরতরে রুদ্ধ হয়ে গেল এবং বিদ‘আত তথা নতুন যে কোনো বিষয় দীনী আমল ও আকীদা হিসেবে দীনের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হওয়াও হারাম হয়ে গেল। এ আলোচনায় বিদ‘আতের সংক্ষিপ্ত পরিচয় তুলে ধরার পাশাপাশি কীভাবে আমাদের সমাজে প্রচলিত বিদ‘আতগুলোকে সনাক্ত করা যায় সে সম্পর্কিত মূলনীতি তুলে ধরা হবে। বিদ‘আতের সংজ্ঞা: বিদ‘আত শব্দের আভিধানিক অর্থ হলো: ا...
